QUESTIONS

It is always good to meet in person and The Works Counsel holds in person consultations in London, Surrey and Berkshire. In addition, we have advised businesses through Zoom and Teams since 2018. Online meetings are popular with clients and one of the most cost effective ways of solving problems in a short timeframe.

Yes, The Works Counsel advises individuals, not just business owners.  We can support you through the trials and tribulations of modern working life. You might want us to check an offer of employment, to make sure that it meets your expectations; to help you if you are summoned to the HR Department for a meeting; to get you the best severance deal possible; or perhaps to support you through a more personal complaint or predicament – your nanny/driver/ housekeeper isn’t up to the job – call The Works Counsel for advice.

The Works Counsel does not believe that fees should take centre stage. Our aim is to give you first-class partner-level advice, tailored to your specific needs at a sensible cost. You will be informed of fees up front and they will be lower than fees at comparable law firms because fees will not be charged solely on a time-spent basis.

Yes. You might be right, there might not be a legal issue but The Works Counsel could still help you find a quick and practical solution. If there is a legal issue, then we will spot it at an early stage and you will be in safe hands.

It is fine to contact The Works Counsel at any point in the life-cycle of a problem. However, experience has shown us the benefits of early professional support. We recognise that it is usually best to address difficult issues at an early stage, rather than to wait, allowing problems to snowball and reach crisis level.

If you have an initial enquiry, you can complete the Contact Form or send an email to hello@theworkscounsel.co.uk. There are no barriers to contact: your message will reach The Works Counsel directly and you will receive a prompt response.
